The
XJR is a high performance
version of the now famous
and incredibly beautiful
XJ sedan series, which
began production in
1968. The XJ sedans
were the final vision
of Sir William Lyons,
Jaguar Founder. He passed
in 1985, but the XJR
would have brought a
smile to his face as
it is the first Jaguar
to employ a supercharger
for power that gave
its’ European rivals
fits and did it with
the class only a Jaguar
can provide.
